Zeta’s AE-12 Amplifier has been specially designed to support the high frequencies required by bowed instruments in order to deliver pure, clear tone in an easy to use format.

The Simple Solution to String Amplification, this 40 watt amplifier is light and portable. Features include a built-in reverb, a high performance 12" speaker and separate compression horn, one high input for passive electronics and a second low input for active electronics with separate volume controls, and a 4-band EQ that provides wide tonal versatility for live performances.

Designed specifically for use with electric violins, violas, cellos and string basses, the AE-12 amplifier’s frequency response and electronic crossovers have been optimized to enhance the distinctive tonal qualities of stringed instruments. Unlike guitar or keyboard amps, the AE-12 supports the high frequency ranges that are vital for amplifying electric strings.

The amp also includes a ¼" Line output jack for auxiliary amps, PA or recording studio applications, and is covered with durable back tolex with reinforced corners. The AE-12 amplifier is 16.5" wide, 11.5" deep, 20" high, and weighs 31 pounds.
