violin brings new Form and Function to Music Education. A
professional quality instrument that is the workhorse of the
teaching studio, the Educator Modern violin has been
specifically designed for use by music teachers and
students. From recitals and live performances to classroom
teaching and practice, the Educator Modern violin delivers
excellent acoustic-electric tone and stylistic versatility.
Zeta's E-Series
violin pickup system delivers a rich, natural acoustic
sounding string tone. Whether used as an analog pickup or a
digital MIDI pickup in conjunction with the Zeta Synthony
II MIDI Controller / Synthesizer (sold separately), the
Educator Modern violin’s E-Series pickup system delivers
beautiful tone without feedback.
Zeta's proprietary internal active preamp system increases
the power of the pickup signal from the E-Series pickup.
This high-tech innovation provides a wide range of
amplification flexibility, supporting a variety of tonal
characteristics suitable to diverse playing techniques and
styles of music. An internal 9-volt battery provides over
1,000 hours of service on average.
- Plug
headphones into the auxiliary output jack for Silent
Practice.
- “Play-a-long”
with the music by connecting a CD player or other music
source into the auxiliary input jack.
- Use
the built-in volume control to blend the level of the
incoming music signal with the volume of the instrument
to get the perfect “practice mix”.
- For
recital performances use the standard 1/4” analog
output jack and Zeta’s AE-12
Amplifier to fill the concert hall with rich, feedback-free
sound.
- Explore
the world of digital music through Zeta’s proprietary mono-MIDI
output jack and rack-mountable Synthony
II MIDI Controller / Synthesizer.
A state-of-the-art design, Zeta’s trademark Modern
form employs simplified body lines with extreme cutaways to
create an exceptionally lightweight instrument. An
innovative "bolt-on" neck design provides
increased structural integrity at the neck/body joint. Ultra
lightweight natural-finish California redwood keeps the body
feather light.
Standard features include a 4-string maple neck with ebony
fingerboard, quality chin rest, tailpiece with fine tuners,
ebony tuning pegs, and on-board volume control.
Exclusive to Zeta, a deluxe soft-padded zippered gig
bag is included with the Educator Modern violin,
providing portability with protection.
