Body
Zeta’s Fusion body design features a stylistic combination
of a traditional acoustic instrument’s lower bout outline
with a sweeping, modernistic upper bout double cutaway. By
eliminating the large upper bout of the traditional
instrument, the Fusion body design facilitates reach to all
neck positions and allows for unlimited playing access. The
same stylistic Fusion design is adapted to the Zeta violin,
viola, cello, and Uprite bass.

The
Fusion Violin and Viola
A removable third-position stop is provided for reference
familiarity. This allows the player to choose to utilize the
Fusion violin and viola’s potential for unlimited neck
playing access, or to maintain the reference position of the
third position stop.
The Fusion violin and viola body is a semi-hollow
construction of lightweight basswood.
The Performer Series Fusion violins and violas feature a
detailed fiddle edge along the top and bottom edges of the
upper and lower bouts. This advanced feature provides
additional referencing for experienced players, and
additional mounting options for shoulder rests.

The
Fusion Cello and Uprite Bass
The
graceful waist cutaways of the Fusion cello and Uprite allow
easy bowing access. The thinline solid body creates a
lightweight yet durable instrument. Retractable endpins
collapse in the body for easy transportation. The key
reference dimensions are maintained with detachable bout
guides that simulate the critical body dimensions of the
traditional acoustic instrument. The set-neck design
provides a smooth and stable transition from the neck to the
body.
