The Zeta Modern body design features simplified yet elegant
contemporary lines. Two graceful sweeping concave curves
create a smooth instrument waistline while maintaining
balance and function. The same stylistic Modern design is
adapted to the Zeta violin, viola, cello, Crossover bass and
Uprite bass.

The
Modern Violin and Viola

Extreme waist cutaways and a highly sculpted back relief
create a lightweight solid body design. With the key
reference dimensions of a traditional acoustic violin, the
Modern violin body maintains the familiar violin positional
cues.
A slotted route on the upper bout of the body provides for
the installation of an innovative "bolt-on" neck
design, providing structural integrity at the neck/body
joint.
The Performer Series Modern violins and violas feature a
detailed fiddle edge along the top and bottom edges of the
upper and lower bouts. This advanced feature provides
additional referencing for experienced players, and
additional mounting options for shoulder rests.
The Educator Series Modern violin and viola feature two
routed grooves along the bottom edge of the lower bout for
the mounting placement of a standard violin shoulder rest.

Modern Cello and Uprite Bass
The graceful waist cutaways of the Modern cello and Uprite
allow easy bowing access. The thinline solid body creates a
lightweight yet durable instrument. Retractable endpins
collapse in the body for easy transportation. The key
reference dimensions are maintained with detachable bout
guides that simulate the critical body dimensions of the
traditional acoustic instrument. The set-neck design
provides a smooth and stable transition from the neck to the
body.

The
Crossover Bass
The smooth, twin curves of the thinline solid body Modern
Crossover Bass create a slender and lightweight electric
bass guitar body that balances well on a guitar strap. The
bottom bout curve is sufficiently arched to give stability
while resting on the knee in a seated playing position. The
waist is narrow and provides for easy bowing access while
playing in the upright position.
